Projects

Here's just a small sampling of what the LARP Cooperative team has been up to lately.

Thompson Peak Education Farm

LARP Co-Op’s newly founded educational farm is located in Janesville, CA, and has been made possible by local community members and their generosity to share land access.

Within a 1-acre fenced in plot of land, permanent no-till rows wait to be planted each spring and summer to fill the pantries of Lassen County community members. While the educational farm is meant to help feed our communities, it is also a place to learn regenerative agriculture production systems on a larger scale for interested community members.

Susanville Farmers’ Market

The Susanville Certified Farmers' Market is the heart of Uptown Susanville during the summer. Vendors include #lassencogrown vegetables and fruits, fresh baked goods, artisans, delicious food vendors, and more! The market can be found at Pancera Plaza, 50 S Gay Street, Susanville CA runs from June until early October each summer season.

If you are a local producer or artisan and are interested in becoming a vendor, please visit https://www.larpcooperative.com/susanville-farmers-market/ for more information.

Susanville Community Garden

The Susanville Community Garden was founded by 3 LARP members in 2018 with a vision to help our community grow more of their own food, increasing food resiliency within our County and giving space for anyone interested to learn about gardening in the High Desert. With partnership from the City of Susanville, LARP Co-Op is able to offer minimal-no cost gardening space for Lassen County community members.
